22 Years Serving Northeast Ohio
Summit HVAC & Plumbing was founded in 2002 by Mike Donovan after nearly a decade as a field technician. Mike had seen firsthand how homeowners were often overcharged, given unnecessary repairs, and left with confusing invoices they couldn't understand.
He started Summit with a simple promise: written flat-rate quotes before any work begins, honest recommendations, and technicians who take the time to explain what they're doing and why.
Twenty-two years and 14,000+ service calls later, that promise still drives everything we do. We're still locally owned, still answering our own phones, and still sending the same quality technicians we'd trust in our own homes.

Mike Donovan
Owner & Master HVAC Technician
Mike founded Summit HVAC & Plumbing in 2002 after 8 years as a field tech for a regional HVAC contractor. His goal was simple: build a company he'd trust in his own home. Twenty-two years later, Summit has completed over 14,000 service calls across Lake and Geauga counties.
Jason Kowalski
Lead Plumber
Jason joined Summit in 2010 after completing his journeyman plumbing apprenticeship. He specializes in whole-house repiping and water heater systems. Cleveland native, Painesville resident.
Tanya Williams
HVAC Technician
Tanya is one of Summit's most requested technicians. Known for her thorough diagnostics and clear communication, she specializes in heat pump and mini-split systems. NATE certified in both heating and cooling.
